Join Me on the Advisory Amplified Tour – Live Podcast Across Six Cities

I’m packing up my podcast gear this fall and hitting the road. Six cities. One day in each. And at the end of every stop, a live recording of The Accounting Podcast.

Here's why I'm joining the Advisory Amplified Tour.

We Need a Different Kind of Event

Traditional accounting conferences can be overwhelming. To attend, you usually need to block most of your week, buy a plane ticket, pay for a hotel, and shell out thousands of dollars. That’s not realistic for a lot of firm owners and operators.

And even if you can afford the time and money, multi-day conferences aren’t always the best way to learn. After day two, your brain is fried. The stack of notes you scribbled down goes into a desk drawer, never to be looked at again.

The Advisory Amplified Tour flips this model on its head. Instead of one giant conference in one city, it’s a roadshow with six local stops. Each event is just one day, limited to 100 attendees, and costs only $99. That means more people can come, and the learning is bite-sized.

It’s accessible. It’s digestible. It's practical.

What the Day Looks Like

The format is designed to keep things focused and impactful:

  • Hands-on sessions: You’ll walk away with a for raising margins, streamlining client work, and elevating your role as an advisor.

  • Tech partners that matter: A curated lineup of apps including Karbon, Ignition, Relay, OnPay, Fathom, and Firm360.

  • Speakers who reflect the future of our profession: Diverse voices, fresh ideas, and leaders you don’t always see on the typical conference circuit.

And then there’s my part: a live podcast recording at the end of every stop. Think of it as the encore. We’ll pull out one of the biggest takeaways of the day and dig even deeper into it.

Why This Tour Matters to Me

Even though I’m a huge fan of remote work, I know there’s no substitute for being in the same room with other people. Meeting listeners, interviewing speakers in person, and having honest conversations face-to-face. That’s why I said yes to this tour.

For me, this is an extension of The Accounting Podcast. We’ve always believed in making continuing education more accessible by tearing down the barriers that keep valuable knowledge in our profession locked up.

Knowledge shouldn’t just belong to the few who can afford the money and time to fly across the country for a week. It should be available to everyone who wants to build a better firm, serve clients better, and push this profession forward.
