Software Updates

CrunchBoards (dashboards) — Woah. The CrunchBoards team has been hard at work and there are a bunch of updates:

  • Custom Account Groupings — Drag and drop your accounts into groups and sub-groups to your heart's desire.
  • Consolidated Reporting — You can now set up consolidated organizations, which behave the same way a single entity does in CrunchBoards. Once created, consolidated entities automatically update.
  • Forecast Cashflow Cards — This new card will show projected cashflow based on any Budgets, Forecasts, or Scenarios you've created in CrunchBoards.
  • Benchmarking Cards (beta) — Now you can use a single card in CrunchBoards to compare performance of organizations in a consolidated group across any custom metric you choose.

Deputy (time cards & scheduling) — Start or stop a shift from your iPhone home screen — With the latest update to the Deputy iOS app, you can use 3D Touch to start or stop a shift without even opening the app. Definitely a feature that has to be seen to be appreciated, so watch the video! In addition, the app is now overall twice as fast as the previous version.

LivePlan (business plans) — Benchmarks & Forecast Scenarios — LivePlan has licensed data from Sageworks ProfitCents to provide benchmarking data points under the new Benchmarks tab in any instance of LivePlan. You can also now create up to 10 forecast scenarios under each LivePlan license.

Now you can automatically eliminate intercompany accounts in Spotlight each reporting period.

Spotlight Reporting (reports & dashboards) — Improved multi-entity consolidation — Spotlight has enhanced the consolidation feature in several ways. Now you can tag accounts as intercompany and Spotlight will automatically eliminate them from consolidated reports every month. Additionally, you can now specificy whether consolidated totals should use foreign currency exchange rates based on the month-end rate, monthly average rate, or your own rate.

Zapier — New triggers and actions for bills and invoices in Xero — Zapier's Xero integration now supports bills and invoices. This means you can set triggers or actions based on these transactions. For example, you could create a sales invoice in Xero every time there's a new entry in Wufoo. Or you can trigger an email to be sent every time a new invoice is created in Xero. The possibilities are endless!
